This versatile substance facilitates spore germination, contamination checks, section selection for growth, cloning of existing fruits, and mycelium storage—among numerous other applications. The prospect of contamination-free tissue cultures adds to the excitement. Agar’s capabilities extend to cloning large fruits and multiplying tissue samples for various uses, including liquid cultures or inoculants.

However, the enthusiasm often wanes when confronted with the equipment requirements for these activities, such as costly Flow Hoods and glove and still air boxes that even seasoned professionals struggle to achieve 100% contamination-free agar plates.

Our product provides a solution—a petri dish with injection ports for clean material transfer, a filter strip for airflow, and reusable housing for an extended lifespan.

Included in the package are 210ml Pp5 pots with reusable filter lids (BISPHENOL A FREE), two easily replaceable injection ports to extend life, a micron filter strip for prolonged use, and 20ml LME Blue Smurf Agar with ideal hydration for your study choice.
